Mortgage Fraud - Significantly reduced sentence

Fraud and Money Laundering - No Further Action
In Rex v SW, Holborn Adams successfully represented a client accused of fraud by abuse of position and money laundering. After submitting robust pre-charge representations to the Crown Prosecution Service, the case was concluded with No Further Action. This result spared the client from formal criminal charges and avoided any further legal action, protecting their reputation and personal freedom.
Forgery - No Further Action
Holborn Adams was instructed to represent a client facing serious allegations of using a false instrument with intent, a charge that carries significant legal and reputational consequences. After reviewing our submissions and the weak evidential basis of the case, the CPS was persuaded to offer no further evidence.
