Fay has over thirteen years of experience working within the Criminal Law sector. She previously managed a case load of Crown Court matters ranging from burglary through to serious frauds and multi handed homicides. She is also experienced in representing clients at adjudication hearings within a prison setting.
Fay had a career break to pursue an ambition breeding racehorses. After much success, she has returned to criminal law where her passion lies.

Fraud - Acquittal
In this high-profile fraud case, Holborn Adams represented a client facing serious allegations of fraudulent activities. The prosecution alleged that the client had engaged in deceptive practices, which resulted in significant financial implications for various stakeholders. Our rigorous preparation and strategic approach ultimately culminated in a trial where the jury carefully evaluated the presented evidence and arguments. After thorough deliberation, the jury returned a verdict of not guilty, exonerating our client and allowing them to resume their professional and personal life without the stain of criminal charges.
VAT and Income Tax Fraud - Crown Discontinued the Case
Holborn Adams was retained to defend a client facing serious allegations of VAT and income tax fraud. In a proactive approach, we meticulously prepared written submissions to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), arguing that pursuing criminal charges would not be in the public interest.As a result of our efforts, the Crown discontinued the prosecution, allowing our client to move forward without the burden of these allegations. Fraud - Acquittal
Acting on behalf of a Chartered Accountant accused of false accounting, Holborn Adams conducted intense defence preparation with expert forensic accountants. The trial resulted in the client's acquittal, exposing that Inland Revenue staff had dishonestly accepted bribes to process claims.
