Upon the completion of her Law LLB degree Geena’s passion and commitment to criminal law was significantly reinforced. It is this enthusiasm for crime and the justice system which sets her apart from the rest.

Young Student Accused of Rape - Case Dropped
Client is an international student who was charged with rape after allegations being made by two separate complainants. The case proceeded to a two week trial. Following trial, the jury returned a verdict in relation to one of the allegations and were undecided in relation to the other thus resulting in a hung jury. The Prosecution took the decision to commence with a retrial in relation to the undecided matter. On day two of the retrial there was a lengthy abuse of process argument advanced by Holborn Adams, which resulted in the case being discontinued.
Sexual Communications - No Further Action
The client, accused of sexual communication with a child, was in a vulnerable position with significant consequences at stake. Holborn Adams took swift action, providing early pre-charge representations to the authorities. By dissecting weaknesses in the evidence and presenting clear, compelling arguments, they ensured the matter was resolved without escalation. As a result, the client faced no further action, avoiding the potential damage a trial could have caused to his personal and professional life.
Rape, Assault & Controlling/Coercive Behaviour - No Further Action
The client faced a series of grave allegations, including attempted rape, attempting to have sex without consent, common assault, and coercive behaviour. After an extensive pre-charge representation process, Holborn Adams demonstrated the inadequacy of the evidence, leading to the decision by the Crown Prosecution Service to take no further action.
