Natasha has a background in both criminal and civil proceedings. She has also been involved in high-profile serious criminal cases, some of which have set legal precedents and are reported in the law reports.
Having represented a number of fellow professionals who have faced serious criminal charges, including; accountants, doctors, solicitors and healthcare professionals, she continues a high success rate in pre-charge representations, avoiding clients facing criminal proceedings and/or charges due to her specialist expertise and approach.
Natasha also undertakes the most serious criminal cases, and she is regularly instructed on complex fraud prosecutions, for example, Serious Fraud Office (SFO) and Her Majesty Revenue & Customs (HMRC) investigations. She continues to act for clients on international drugs trafficking cases and multi-jurisdictional pre-charge cases / investigations. Natasha has also represented individuals connected to public office. All cases are dealt with very sensitively and with complete discretion at all times.
Natasha has a track record of extraordinary achievements in her recent career, successfully practising as a commercial solicitor in a leading international law firm. She has represented professionals and corporations, including some of the UK’s leading insurance companies, in high-value claims.

VAT Fraud - No Further Action
Holborn Adams represented a client facing serious allegations, including fraudulent evasion of VAT contrary to the VAT Act 1994, investigated by the HMRC Criminal Team. Acting swiftly, the team compiled a comprehensive pre-charge representations package that included crucial medical and defence evidence. This strategic approach led to a decision of no further action, allowing the client to avoid the stress of formal charges and the potential consequences of a trial.
Fraud and Money Laundering - Significantly Reduce Charges
In HMRC v B C, an investigation that began in 2011 was brought to a successful conclusion by the Holborn Adams’ Serious Fraud Team. The client faced several serious charges, including conspiracy to cheat the public revenue, conspiracy to undertake fraudulent activity, and making and supplying articles for use in fraud and money laundering. The total value of the alleged crimes was estimated at £5,000,000. However, through extensive pre-charge representations during interviews and compelling client statements, Holborn Adams was able to secure a significant reduction in charges. HMRC investigators dropped all major charges, providing a favourable outcome for the client.
